The collection is comprised of 438 1/4" reel to reel audio tapes. The tapes contain recordings of special events that happened at U.K. such as the Women's Conference, Women: Equal but Different, the Humanities Conference in 1965, the Davenport Creative Writing Seminar, the Davenport Lecture series, the Founder's Day series, the Biological Conference with Buckmaster Fuller, Exploring Kentucky series, radio dramas series like Horiatio Hornblower and Stories from Scotland Yard, and music including the Mozart Bergen Festival, the Great Symphony series and the Folk Songs series. Individual events include speeches by Dr. Robert Strauss, Bob Nims, Anne Legat, Dave Carter, Stephen Leacock, Dick Pigman, Dr. Summers, Dr. Paul Haney and Robert J. Buck. Books on tape include The Great Books of Asia, The Spoken Word narrated by Henry Hubert, Reading the Writer, and The Lives of Henry Lime narrated by Olson Welles.
